A coin that points at the launchpad.
SLYNGP is a promotional coin. It was launched on PONS rather than here, for one practical reason: a PONS coin has a Uniswap pool from its first block, so it shows up in aggregators and trading apps immediately. A Slyng coin has no pool until it graduates. SLYNGP is how people find us while SLYNG is still bonding.
SLYNGP and SLYNG are not the same thing
Both rows are checkable without trusting us. Read launchpad() on either token: SLYNG returns this launchpad, SLYNGP does not, and neither answer has a setter behind it.
The coin
Why a coin on somebody else's launchpad
A Slyng coin trades against its bonding curve until it raises 5 ETH, and only then does it get a real Uniswap pool. Aggregators and trading apps route through pools, so until that moment a coin of ours is invisible to almost everything that is not this site. That is a deliberate design — the curve is what makes the fee split and the graduation work — but it is a real cost on day one.
A PONS coin is the opposite shape: a pool from the creation transaction, no curve, no graduation, and 1% in fees forever. It is worse as a token and better as a billboard. So SLYNGP exists to be seen in the places SLYNG cannot be seen yet, and every one of those places links back here.
When SLYNG graduates it gets its own pool and needs none of this. Watch that here.
The actual product is the launchpad
Creating a coin is free and always will be — there is no code path in the contract that can charge for it. Creators keep 70% of every trade fee, and a creator who turns on rug protection cannot sell, move or transfer their own coins for a window they choose and cannot shorten.
